. Its your third week at Janus Corporation. Your job is great and you really enjoy your colleagues. There is one colleague, Lori Kitsner, who is really annoying. She wrote an email to your team asking them to complete a return-to-work survey. This is really important because it will help Janus decide how employees might return to work when everyone is vaccinated. Your boss has asked you to re-write the email as it will now be coming from Janus president, Kim Kam.

I know youve all be enjoying working in your pyjamas and hanging around on your couch all day. I hope youve managed to stay productive and get work done. We know that a whole bunch of people are complaining about having to come back to work. Like, I know youve been working, but the coffee room looks like a total wasteland, am I right? I dont deserve an angry email dont you know how to take a joke!

I put this survey together that will help us decide how we can keep staff (thats you) happy and engaged and whatever. Do you want to come back to work or not? If we decide to let you stay home are you going to want money from us?

The last survey we did was like barely anyone responded and it had a 10% response rate and I know this was for our Christmas Party but this survey is really important. You have to do it. I dont know how long it will take, maybe 10 minutes. Oh and your survey response is totally completely absolutelty confidential. I mean not even Kim Kam can see what you said. Shell see the results and Ill share them with you.

In 2023, our lease on our current workspace expires and we need to know if we should stay at the same crummy location or if we should move somewhere nicer and prettier. But it really depends on what you say in this survey. Can you see why I am so worried about it?
