1. XYZ company is developing a pay processing program. There are three grades of employees, A, B and C. Those in A are paid an hourly rate of Ksh 500, B paid Ksh 700 while those in C Ksh 1000. In addition, those in grade A and C are paid house allowance of Ksh 10,000. The total pay is taxed as follows: For the first Ksh 12,000 at 0%, next 12,000 at 10%, next 12,000 at 15% and the remainder at 20%.
