In an organization, there are several departments. Each department is responsible for certain tasks. Each department may have several employees. A department may have only one director, one or many managers, and several professional employees. A professional employee should have only one direct manager. The organization has a president and a number of vice presidents. In each employee category (Director, Manager, Professional Employee, and Vice President), there are five ranks (Rank 1, Rank 2, 3, 4, and Rank 5). An employee should receive a fair yearly review. The result of the review could lead to a promotion. Further, an employee should receive a yearly increase. This increase is different than the performance evaluation increase, and it is the same for all employees in the organization. Moreover, the employee should receive an increase based on her/his performance evaluation. Use the following equation to calculate the promotion increase:

Performance_Increase = 0.1 * evaluation_percentage * yearly_salary

If the employee received an evaluation that is less than 60%, he/she will not receive a performance increase.

An employee will be promoted from the current rank to the next rank. An employee may be promoted once every three years. An employee at Rank 5 may apply for a promotion to Rank 1 in a higher employment category. For example, a professional employee with Rank 5 may apply for promotion to Manager Rank 1. Further, a Manager with Rank 5 may apply for promotion to a Director of Rank 1 (if there is a vacancy). Similarly, a Director may apply to a Vice President of Rank 1. The promotion should be approved by the direct manager, the director, the VP, and finally the president.

An employee may be transferred from one department to another. This transfer does not require a promotion. However, it must be approved by the direct manager, the director of the current department and the director of the other department. Then, it should be approved by the VP.

Additionally, the system should satisfy the following requirements:

Each user shall have a username/password to use the system (it doesnt need to be encrypted).

In January, the employee shall enter her/his goals for the coming year.

In November, the employee shall be able to enter her/his achievements in the past year.

The manager shall be able to write her/his review and rank the employees performance.

The employee shall be able to apply for promotion after completing the performance evaluation if he/she didnt receive a promotion in the past 3 years and received at least 80% in the performance evaluation.

The employee shall be able to apply for a transfer to another department. Once the employee gets all the approvals, her/his will be transferred to the other department.

The employee has an employee ID, first name, last name, job category, job title (see below), and rank.

The organization has the following departments:

Human Resources Department (has HR Officers, HR Managers, and an HR Director).

Accounting Department (has General accountants, Accounting Manager, and Accounting Director).

Engineering Department (has Engineers, Engineering Managers, and a Director).

Sales and Marketing Department (has Sales & Marketing Engineers, S&M Managers, and S&M Director).\

There are two Vice Presidents in the organization. The HR and Accounting departments report to the same Vice President. The Engineering and Sales & Marketing departments report to the same Vice President.

The performance review process has the following statuses (Draft, In Process, and Completed)

The promotion or transfer has the following statuses (Draft, In Process, Approved or Declined)
