Case Study:

In this task, you will be required to think outside the box. Think of a situation that required both parties to enter into an agreement, (contractual exchange) as seen on the videos presented to you in class.

You will be partyone, and you will make up a name (for example: John Doe) forparty two OR include a business name, entity. From the example contracts attached and following your selection from the topics embedded in the PowerPoint, curate your own rough copy contract agreement.

You MAY work in pairs or groups to gather information and research, however this is an indepedent assignment. Copying contracts from the internet is prohibited, you must write this in your own words, and you will need to include references to your material if you have extracted words, phrases, or material from the internet for this assignment below your contract.

All situations MUST be different from your peers, and you cannot submit the same concept, situation or scenario. Please watch the videos below to assist with your assignment.

Your contract should include the following criteria:

  • Your contact information
  • Business or Person in receipt of contract and their information
  • summary & breakdown of services rendered
  • Terms and conditions & GST HST (provincial standards) \
  • Payment terms
  • Any additional notices

Step1: Research contract of choice (research and analysis)

Step 2:Select a contract type from the powerpoint (or teachings) get approval of contract prior to selection.

Step 3:Curate rough copy contract, use examples attached in this assignment thread

Step 4:Clearly identify who are the parties

Step 5: Continue to create your situation and contract, include terms and conditions, what the situation might be, and follow the questions below that will help generate answers for your contract.

Step 6: Review and reference your work
