You are teaching a large class (estimated 70 students). You use a QR Code to take attendance, In the last few classes, five or six attendance reports come in about 15-19 minutes after the QR CODE closes. When checking to see if those students are in ciass, there is no response. One wonders if someone IN THE CLASS is sending those five or six students the QR CODE and they are enrolling remotely as if they are in the classroom. This type of activity requires a report to academic integrity for investigation purposes. WHAT DO YOU DO AND WHY FROM AN ETHICAL VIEWPOINT? IF IT IS FOUND THAT A STUDENT OR STUDENTS IN CLASS ARE SENDING QR CODES TO STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT ATTENDING CLASS DOES IT AFFECT THE INVOLVED STUDENTS' GRADES? Why? Why not
