You are using a word processing program and wish to save the contents of your file under a different name or a different format. To begin this process correctly you would:

click on the File Tab, then click on the "Save" menu choice.

press the Alternate Key $($Alt$),$ then the letter $"$S$"$ for save.

Press the Control Key $($Ctrl$),$ then enter the desired file name.

click on the File Tab, then click on the "Save As$"$ menu choice.
