You have completed the course and are nearing the end of the semester. For this last journal
Question:
You have completed the course and are nearing the end of the semester. For this last journal entry I want you to continue putting all the pieces of the course together. For Journal 11 I asked you to compare your MPG's outcomes to your ideas of the Good Life, and for Exam 2 I have asked you to re-address the question of what the Good Life is to you. To quote, of all people, Karl Marx: "The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways; the point is to change it." In other words, we have just completed interpreting your good life. Now we need to make it happen.
For this journal entry I want you to examine and evaluate what the Good Life means to you in the context of the career you are aiming towards.
Please consider and answer ALL the following questions in your entry for Journal 12:
- How do the ideas from this course (The different philosophies and thinkers we've covered and the ideas presented and practice in the MPG's workbook) lend themselves to your future career?
- Provide examples. If particular thinkers will help you act out certain duties or perform certain roles in your desired career, how so?
- What ideas from this course do you think won't be particularly helpful for your future careers and why?
- again, provide examples.
- How do you see the content of this course and all the philosophies and practices presented help you live your life and pursue your goals?
- provide examples.
Your journal entry should be at least 300 wor ds in length.
