You have many retail encounters each day, thus avoid describing ten visits to the same pizza place over the weeks for this assignment, even if you think it has the best pizza and service in the world!

Include as much information as possible about each encounter on the form. The success of your extended analysis will depend on the depth of details you note with each encounter. In other words, writing down that your encounter at retail or service provider could have been better does not provide any basis to comment on what went wrong or help give suggestions for improvement. Similarly, stating that everything went well for a particular encounter gives no basis for explaining what the retailer or service provider did to make this a satisfying experience.
