You will collect data on two variables that have a dependent relationship. For example, a person's age compared to her height, the number of points that a basketball player scores compared to his time in the game. You may obtain the data from taking a survey or from finding data on the internet. Create table of the data of at least 15-20 points. Label the columns.

Plot the points on a coordinate plane, being sure to plot the dependent variable on the y axis and the independent variable on the x axis. Label the axes. Draw a line of best fit.

Choose two points on the line of best fit and:

1)Calculate the slope of the line.

2)Using the point slope formula, write the equation of the line in point slope form.

3)Convert from point slope form to slope-intercept form.

4)Convert from slope-intercept to standard form.

5)Rewrite from standard to slope-intercept form.
