Here are some topics to consider from the chapters:

Big Data - latest innovations, security/ethic issues, new systems in the market, etc...

Graph Databases - how companies are using this technology to improve business decisions, ethics and or securities issues with this topic

Mobile Analytics - This is hot topic! How are companies using analytics to drive business and marketing. Look for research describing before and after scenarios, or case studies on business that are successful solely based on mobile analytics.

Social Networks - privacy issues, ethics, exploits etc.

Employee Monitoring - email and or data leaks, legal implications, etc.
