One student should be the human resource manager screening applicants, and the other should be the candidate for the manager training program. As the human resource manager, ask appropriate questions of the applicant, such as the following:

• Why are you applying for this position?

• What are your strengths and weaknesses for this position?

• Why should this organization consider you for this position?
• Why are you interested in working for this company?
• What are your career goals for the next 5 to 10 years?
• Describe your skills when working in a team setting.
• What questions do you have about the company?
