It has been established that the average time it takes for students to complete a bachelor's degree is approximately 4.8 years. In order to help students graduate earlier, a university wants to implement a first-year seminar. But before the program is put in place for all of their students, the university wants to test the effectiveness of such a program. To test the program, a pilot study was conducted by the university by first obtaining a random sample of incoming freshmen and assigning them to the program.
