Select a service process and draw the flowchart using no more than 10 process steps. The service process can be based on your work experience, such as in accounting or human resource management, or a familiar process such as a quick-service automobile oil change, buying an automobile, getting a telephone installed in your home or apartment, ordering a home delivery pizza, and using the Internet.

(If a facility layout helps explain the overall service design then include the layout.) Discuss where bottlenecks are likely to occur. If you can obtain data, estimate the throughput for the process.
