Needed a Python book for my Cypress College class and grabbed this on a discount so it was a nice deal. Haven't finished but what I’ve read has been pretty helpful and way easier to get than some other stuff. The way it breaks down the basics without going all crazy complicated has been super nice for me since I’m still learning. Also the print is good quality and the pages feel like they’ll last the semester. Took like a week to show up which wasn’t bad at all. Pretty glad I chose this for my class so far.

Expected more beginner-friendly content. While 'Building Python Programs' has its merits, I found the content difficult to grasp initially. Some chapters are too complex for starters. Learning curve much steeper than anticipated.

'Building Python Programs' provides deep insights but felt dense for me. As a newbie, simpler topics would help. However, highly detailed examples enhance understanding. Decent purchase overall.
