Book Price $0 : The book 'Introduction to Law' by Joanne B. Hames and Yvonne Ekern offers a comprehensive guide to understanding the foundational aspects of law. The fifth edition of this work delves into critical topics such as the legal process, case analysis, and the role of the judiciary. By breaking down complex legal principles into understandable segments, the authors create an educational text that is beneficial for both legal professionals and students. A unique feature of this textbook is the inclusion of a solution manual, which provides an exhaustive Answer Key to the exercises posed in each chapter, greatly facilitating the learning process. Needed this book for my Associate of Arts in Legal Studies course and honestly, got it for free which was sweet. It’s a decent read—not crazy hard to follow and the parts I’ve gone through make the basics clearer, so that’s cool. The book feels sturdy and doesn’t look all beat-up even though it took about a week to make it here. Haven’t finished it yet because the class just started but what I’ve seen so far is helpful and not too dense. If you’re starting out in law studies, this one’s pretty chill and usable, at least for me.

So the book ended up at my neighbor's place even though it’s the same street, just wrong house number—found out by some surprise pics. Kinda annoying cuz I waited on it for a bit and had to track down a neighbor to grab it. At least it was free I guess, but seriously hope the delivery folks double-check next time.

Was waiting on this for my LAW 101: Introduction to Legal Principles class and it got here super fast which was cool. The book feels pretty solid and doesn’t look cheap or anything, just what I expected. Haven’t gone beyond a few pages, but from what I glanced at it seems clear and easy to follow so far. Getting this for free was obviously awesome, so that’s a big win right there. Hoping it really helps me out during the semester since some law stuff can get confusing. For now it’s a nice little jumpstart for the class.
