Write a paper in essay form. It should have a thesis statement in the initial paragraph describing the specific educational philosophy chosen from the chapter (such as perennialism, essentialism, progressivism, and social reconstructionism) that you feel is applicable to you.
You may use more than one if you cannot narrow it down to only one. This paragraph will be followed by three to five paragraphs supporting the statements that you made in your first paragraph. It must have descriptions of how your philosophy would be evident in the way you will teach, set up your class, work with children and communicate. This paper should be written about you, and should therefore be written in the first person. Make sure that you explain in each paragraph how your philosophy contributes to your choices as a teacher. Your final paragraph will be a closing paragraph restating your first paragraph in another way. You can use the attached pictures for references.
