Although the state diagram seems more convenient than the state table when we are dealing with a finite state machine

as the input strings get longer and the sizes of S,F and O increase, the state table proves useful when simulating the machine on a computer. The block form of the table suggests the use of a matrix or two-dimensional array for storing v, w. Use this observation to write a program (or develop an algorithm) that will simulate the machine in Table 6.18.
