An amount of power, say 1000 kW, comes from a furnace at 800°C going into water vapor at 400°C. From the water the power goes to a solid metal at 200°C and then into some air at 70°C. For each location calculate the flux of s through a surface as (Q̇/T). What makes the flux larger and larger?
