From seals and sea turtles to porpoises and penguins, the nonprofit New England Aquarium houses an incredibly diverse array of the world’s sea life. The aquarium’s official mission statement is “to present, promote, and protect the world of water.” It also wants to appeal to a broad audience and build a work force of paid and unpaid staff that reflects Boston’s diversity.
