Half a mole of an ideal monatomic gas at a pressure of 400 kPa and a temperature of 300 K expands until the pressure has diminished to 160 kPa. Find the final temperature and volume, the work done, and the heat absorbed by the gas if the expansion is
(a) Isothermal, and
(b) Adiabatic.
