Prepare to participate during an upcoming meeting. Review the meeting citizenship behaviors listed in Figure 10. Try to demonstrate as many behaviors as possible and observe other participants to see how many they follow. After the meeting, reflect on your experience. Which behaviors did you observe others doing? How did their actions affect your view of them and their contribution to the meeting? Which actions were you able to take? How did your participation affect your experience of the meeting? Which of the behaviors will you continue in the future? How did people use their phones during the meeting? Did you see people making or taking calls or checking or writing text messages? How did you judge those behaviors?
