(a) Show that the thrust that is developed is equal to \(ho A V^{2}\), where \(A=\pi D^{2} / 4\).

(b) The exhaust gas from the rocket nozzle shown in Fig. P5.73b is also uniform, but rather than being directed along the \(x\) axis, it is directed along rays from point 0 as indicated. Determine the thrust for this rocket.
