Don told Dee that using the VPN is a much better alternative, for two reasons: One, Dee would have to pay Don more to set up a security system on a public blog. Second, such a system would require Emerson salespeople to have separate credentials just to access the blog. Many salespeople would forget their blog ID or password, and this would create an administrative problem for them and Dee. Most likely the salespeople would stop using the blog.
