Redraw the structured multiblock grid of Fig. 15–12b for the case in which your CFD code can handle only elementary blocks. Renumber all the blocks and indicate how many i- and j-intervals are contained in each block. How many elementary blocks do you end up with? Add up all the cells, and verify that the total number of cells does not change.
