With four or five other students, develop a comprehensive list of factors that represent barriers to whistle-blowing within an organization. Barriers to whistle-blowing come from three sources:

(1) The organization itself.

(2) An employee’s supervisor.

(3) Personal factors related to the employee. 

The team should identify barriers to whistle-blowing from each of these sources. Finally, develop ways to lower the barriers to whistle-blowing from these different sources. Be prepared to discuss ways to lower the barriers to whistle-blowing in organizations when called upon by the instructor.
