Write a subheading report about a 44 year old man, Tom Jones, who was arrested on march 31, 2014 for allegedly shoplifting at Macy's at the short hills mall, fled from Springfield, NJ police and then from NJ state police and stopped his car on the George Washington bridge, jumping to his death before police could apprehend him. The male was reported to live in the Springfield area and had a prior record of shoplifting convictions stemming back 5 years after losing his job as a chef at la cuisine restaurant. Tom Jones was pronounced dead at 8:29 pm on March 31, 2014.
