1. Develop a mathematical model for a non-isothermal Batch Reactor (shown in figure below), where the following consecutive reactions take place: ABC The reaction is exothermic. It is assumed that AB, has the sccond-order Kinetics, whereas B C has the first order kineties. In this batch operation B is the desired product. The reactor is filled with reactant and then sealed. The contents of the reactor are heated with snturated sterun supplied to the jacket at temperature T1. The exothermic heat of reaction is removed by cooling coil through which chilled water is passed. Flow rate of cooling water is very high so that inlet and outlet coolant temperature is almost same (Tci=T=Te). [Book for reference : Amiya K. Jana 2nd ed, page no.62-65]
