Job Analysis is one of the core HR tasks. And, preparing a useful job description is part of that work.

Please select any position with which you are familiar. It might be a job youve done in the past or one that you would like to research. You might, for example, pick the job of someone you know or, a job that you can research in the library or on-line.

Then, prepare a 2 or 3 page position description. You are free to use whatever format you like as long as it is professional, thorough and detailed. It must be your own work. You may not use a position or job description prepared by someone else.
