Basic Howland Current Source

In some applications, we need a voltage to current converter that will turn a voltage into a proportional current. A simple resistor can achieve this, but then the current will depend on the load resistance. Ideally, a current source should have an infinite output resistance so that any load resistance would be a negligible fraction, keeping the current constant. A simple resistor does not satisfy this requirement very well.
