A pin jointed structure is attached to a vertical wall at positions $1$ and $2$ as shown in the space diagram below. The lower most member $($BC$)$ has a length of $1$m$.$ An external load of $4$kN is applied to the top right joint.

Starting with the top right$-$hand joint and then moving on to the bottom right$-$hand joint determine the magnitude and the nature $($i$.$e$.$ strut or tie$)$ of the force in each member.
