About a C++ program (c++14) problem. user gives some inputs. and then output the frequency histogram of them.
each input word has arbitrary length and the number of words to be read is unknown
for example. The input like:
beauty
dragon
charm
charm
beauty
charm
------
in this case the output should be like this:
beauty |** charm |*** dragon |*
My Qestion:
What I am confused is how to keep the "|*...*" part be vertically aligned? even the lengths of words are different. I try to use setw&setfill but it doesn't work. I am not sure does it matter with the variable of longest input length and how to use that. Thanks!
