2. The disabled population is supported by various laws, including the ADA, yet they still face

access issues when it comes to athletic participation. What are some of the barriers of

participation for these individuals? How can these barriers be lessened?

3. "Intercollegiate athletes need a union to lobby for changes in how they are treated in sport

programs." This is a controversial statement. Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not?
