Application exercise: Human resources practices The congruence model proposes that management for innovation in the organization is done through corporate guidelines and through people. The model consists of four dimensions: people, tasks, formal processes and informal processes. This approach establishes that human resources practices must be consistent with other aspects of the organization, such as strategy. Instructions 1. Search for two (2) articles from academic journals in which the human resources practices and the effectiveness of the organizations are presented (the articles must not be published for more than five years). If you have questions about whether the items you identified can be used to do your homework, check with your course teacher. Remember that you can use the Virtual Library databases to search for articles. 2. Then, write a brief that includes the following: o Introduction Development: Analyze each article individually and answer the following. 1. What is the conceptual framework that supports research? 2. What is the problem statement presented by the author? Write what you think the research question or questions are and what the objectives are. 3. What elements justify the problem statement (on which the author relies to base the problem? 4. Describe the population under study. 5. Does the job title clearly reflect its objective? 6. What is the relevance of the study from the perspective of human resources? 7. What were the results of the study? 8. What approach does the author make about human resources practices? 9. What implications, if any, do the author's findings or recommendations have on human resources policies and practices and organizational effectiveness? o Conclusion: Summarize the topics discussed throughout the writing.
