Apply a statistical process control application to the number of customer complaints received per sample of 1000 packages delivered daily across all of the regional UPS terminals in a particular region on a given day. Complaints may be based on any aspect of the delivery including but not limited to correct destination, timeliness, condition, driver behavior, where or how the parcel was left and/or any other aspect of the service as perceived by the customer. Following are the number of customer complaints per 1000 deliveries on 57 successive days reading left to right. Choose the appropriate control chart and justify. Comment with regard to any assumptions necessary for the control chart chosen. Utilize SPSS to construct the chart and analyze. Choose your assessment rules and comment on the selection. Finally assess the chart for control and comment as to what happens next based on that assessment.
