Select one of Canada's 10 provincial premiers and track their specific leadership activities as they have been reported in the press over the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, January 1 to June 30, 2021. In your view, (a) how well did the leader manage this situation, (b) which of the leadership competencies (see link below for the list) did the leader demonstrate; and (c) what conclusions can you draw from your analysis? Please note: activities of the leader must be explicitly used to support your assessment of the competencies of the leader.

Describe the context within which your provincial leader operated during the COVID-19 pandemic using the PESTEL framework. Part (a) of your response to this question is to consider the context in the months up to the start of the pandemic; part (b), the context since the start of the third wave in January 2021; and in part (c) what conclusions can you draw from your analysis? A minimum of 6 PESTEL factors are required. All factors should be supported with data and an in text citation.
