You are designing an application to analyze and manage employees$$ stress levels. The application is based on emotion$-$sensing technology that is capable of recognizing basic human emotions such as sadness, anger, fear, and happiness through facial expressions, speech tone, and body language. WHAT COULD BE SOME FEATURES OF THE EMPLOYEE STRESS$-$MANAGEMENT APPLICATION?

An AI system will be used to evaluate your ideas. The AI system provides consistent and objective evaluation while it might have unknown biases or errors. The system uses standard performance evaluation metrics and may not accept exceptional novel ideas.

The AI system evaluates your performance based on both quantity and quality of your ideas in the form of system features. Quantity is the number of ideas, whereas quality is measured based on the novelty of the ideas and their business value.

The AI system has been set to have LOW autonomy in decision making and thus it only makes a recommendation on your grade.

Tasks:

$1.$ Using design thinking techniques to explore the employees and employers' needs and propose new features $($see the above examples for reference$)$ that the stress management application should have. Again, an AI system will evaluate your features and suggest a grade, based on both the number of ideas and the novelty of ideas. I will review your works and decide your final score on this task. Take a survey about your perception of using the AI system in grading. Make sure to save and submit the Qualtrics Response ID at the end of the survey. The survey will be anonymous $---$ the Response ID is used to enter your grade to Canvas, but your name will not be linked to the survey answers.
