Career Statistics Memo

The assignment must include the following information and sections

I. Header:

Follow memo formatting described in course resources

II. Introduction:

Define the topic and/or reason for writing

III. Body:

You must integrate data AND your discussion/explanation of the data. Use an objective, informative tone. Do not state what you did to find the information. Instead, state the current data, explain what it means or how it compares to other data, and discuss the significance of (or lessons gleaned from) the data. Your memo must cover all of the following:

Demand information, including:

Short-term demand (5 years )

Long-term demand (10 years)

Demand comparison to at least one other field/industry

Salary information, including

Starting/entry-level salary

Top-of-scale salary

Salary comparison to another field/industry

Duties and responsibilities for entry-level position (must include information on business communications skills needed for the job)

IV. Conclusion:

Give a sense of closure or summary

State what was learned or the value of the research to you personally

List at least three credible sources readers can use to learn about the career

State whom to contact with questions
