CASE STUDY TWO Jim is an experienced worker at the community centre where you work you both work. You are Jim's supervisor. You have had a lengthy supervisory relationship over a 12 month period. Jim always attends supervision sessions and is well prepared for these sessions. Jim has recently been given the task of working with a small ethnic minority group of about 10 men from Iran who are based in the community. The members of this group have come as asylum seekers and have spent time in off shore processing. Many have experienced torture and trauma resulting from their time in Iran and these experiences have contributed to their need to flee Iran for a safer place to live. Jim is committed to and enjoying the work with these men. However, he is struggling with his knowledge base and ability to respond to the trauma experienced by these men. Jim believes he needs to understand more about these issues. How will you respond to Jim in this situation?
