Job Title: REGIONAL MARKETING MANAGER

Duties. Under the general direction of the Director of Marketing, manages the marketing and sales of client systems that meet customer needs and will make a positive contribution to Zeniths financial performance for a given region. Prepares regional sales forecasts. Ensures that contracted products will meet customer needs, that product specifications are well developed, and that product costing is accurate. In conjunction with marketing policies, sets a price for the product that will contribute a satisfactory profit margin to Zenith. May get involved in client negotiations over price or product design issues. Approves all product proposals and contracts, subject to final review by Director of Marketing. Ensures that budgeted sales levels are accomplished. Prepares regional budget. Evaluates current policies, procedures, and practices for achieving regional objectives and implements improved policies, procedures, and practices. Responsible for selection, evaluation, coaching, promotion, transfer, or discharge of Systems Marketing Specialists and Systems Design Analysts. Jointly with Regional Maintenance Manager, oversees administration of the regional office.

Desirable Qualifications. This position requires a university commerce or business administration degree with specialization in marketing. At least three to five years of experience in marketing/sales of medical/health care applications software. Sufficient course work (or work experience) in computing science to understand the principles, processes, and practices of systems charting. Demonstrated ability to coordinate, develop, and supervise staff; deal with interpersonal conflict; and meet departmental deadlines and performance objectives are essential. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
