Using the material in your home plan out a setting for 1 or 2 people (your choice). You will prepare a small meal that includes:

Your service-ware will match your dishes and drink. Work with what you have available in your home.

• If you live with someone from class you may work together and submit the final together. But you must be planning from this assignment. ( you will be working with this person for the next 4 weeks, if you choose to have a partner

• So I repeat: YES YOU CAN WORK with a partner if they are in HRM1013 H2S3 (they must already live with you) and you must be able to submit assignments together each week from now on.
• Whatever plan you make today is what you must with till the end of the semester, I will be watching for consistency.

Step 1: Create a plan for your FINAL LAB (VIDEO), keep things simple, use what is around your house. Write out a plan.

Step 2: Decide on your menu, 1 starter, 1 main, 1 desert and 1 drink

Step 3: Create a draft menu card that shows what will be served with a description for each (just like on a menu).

Step 4: Look around your house to help you create a nice table set-up and choose your service-ware and centre piece, table cloth etc.

Step 5: Your final will be a video of your planned Lab to show, preparation presentation and your service skills while looking your very best!
