DEI Research on Policy or Practice Assignment

Purpose: You will write a 4-5 page paper in which you look at one workplace policy or practice that you are interested in learning more about to better understand how its implementation can have positive and negative effects in the workplace. The purpose of this assignment is to introduce the policy, share the advantages, and disadvantages of the policy, and the impacts of the policy.

Examples of a Workplace Policies or Practices to Research: You can select one of these or select another policy and practice with the goal of making better the practice of managing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce.

1. Employee Resource Groups
2. Dress Code Policies
3. Affinity Leadership Development Programs
4. Sponsorship or Mentoring Programs
5. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Employee Training
6. Vendor/Supplier Diversity Policies
7. Parental/Bonding Leave

9. Topic of your choosing that is a policy or practice designed to management a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce.
