1. Describe your personalcultural framework. This should include reference to the intersection of cultures and subcultures that are part of who you are, and how you identify and project yourself. Useful key terms and concepts to use as part of your description can/should include:

• core symbols and references/norms
• avowal and ascription to dominant culture(s) and/or co-cultures (e.g., nationality, gender, etc.)
• intercultural experiences (travel, living, upbringing, etc.)
• fundamental and relative ethical perspectives
• source and sense of connection with the cultural elements of religion, history, values, social organization, language
• worldview relative to religion, secularism, spirituality; can be specific about faith/belief and associated practices
• perception of your Values (Kohls), Value Dimensions (Kluckhohn and Strodtbeck), Value Orientations (Hofstede)
