Discussion topics will be assigned by module and open during the time the module is being covered. All original posting in discussions should be 300-500 words long, using at least one properly cited outside source in addition to the text. The content of your discussion should reflect the application of concepts learned in the module. Postings are expected to be your original thought including examples that illustrate the topic being discussed. After you have posted, you must read and comment on at least one other classmate's posting. This reply should be substantive, not limited to simple comments such as, "I agree," or "I enjoyed your post." Please see the rubric included in each discussion before posting.

Every year companies do research, conduct focus groups and test markets and launch new products. In spite of all these efforts, some products flop and it costs the company millions. Review the following blog article cited in this section, and then research another famous product that failed (there are many articles on this).
