For example, security personnel may also need to monitor and investigate offenses that are aimed at ticketing systems, electric locks on the access gates to certain terminals and the trains themselves which are ran as a network. Guards can also augment the Transit Police by manning access control posts. They may be stationed at entry ways to Penn Station, for example, people at Penn Station are notorious for allowing in other travelers to the subway cars be leaving the emergency exit gates unlocked.
