When customers need a new muesli, they select ingredients for their individual muesli on the website. They have to fill in a web- form and submit their completed order to MixYourMuesli. As soon as the order is received by the information system of MixYourMuesli, it will prepare a quote based on the ingredients selected such as flakes, apples, raisins and other extras together. The information system sends the quote to the customer, who will decide depending on the costs to either confirm or cancel the order. If the customer perceives the costs as OK, he will confirm the order. This confirmation is received by the information system. If the costs are too high, he cancels the order. The cancellation is also received by the information system and the order is regarded as not fulfilled. If the customer doesnt respond within 7 days, the order is also regarded as not fulfilled. As soon as the information system receives the confirmation from the customer, it notifies the production department which mixes and packs the muesli. After the muesli has been mixed and packed by the production department, the accounting department sends the invoice to the customer. The customer receives the invoice and pays for it. As soon as the accounting department receives the payment, the production department sends the muesli. The customer receives it and the order is fulfilled.
