The Jackson family is going on a road trip to Florida. In the first hour they leave their house

and drive down the highway at a constant rate of 75 km. The second hour there is more

traffic, so the family travels just 50 km. After the family passes the traffic, their car gets a

flat tire and the stop on the side of the road for about an hour. After the tire is fixed the

family starts driving again at a faster rate of 75 km for the next hour. The family runs into

more traffic and has to slow down again and only travels 50km for the next hour. After 5

hours of driving the family decides to make a stop at a nearby diner and eat lunch
