This product was in the final stage of development with production start$-$up at the end of $2020.$ You started $2021$ on the manufacturing floor solving performance problems. In the past, manufacturing had experienced great difficulty determining the cause of the final test failures. During your training, a basic performance assumption that was explained to you bothered you.
