Hello! Could you please help me with the following problem?
"According to a recent article in the Economist (October 2015) "Dell, a computer maker, was reportedly talking to EMC, a giant in data storage, about a merger of some sort of combination of their businesses. If they do pair it up it would make a significant transformation for Dell from hardware producer to IT provider."
In order to test if the merger is a good idea, Dell conducted a marker survey that showed that, currently, 60% of corporations in North America use its hardware (servers, desktops PCs, laptops etc.) in their businesses and 20% use EMC for their IT needs. Dell also learned that given a corporation doesn't use Dell's hardware, there is a 70% chance that they use another IT provider than EMC."
I would like to know how to construct the contingency table for it. Thanks a lot!
