GENDER*:

0 = Male

1 = Female

AGE:

Ranges between 18 and 45 and represents actual age

MARITAL STATUS:

1 = Single

2 = Married

3 = Other

FINANCIAL STATUS:

1 = Overextended

2 = Making ends meet

3 = Comfortable

PHYSICAL HEALTH:

1 = Poor

2 = Fair

3 = Good

4 = Very good

5 = Excellent

LIFE SATISFACTION:

Ranges between 7 and 35 and represents a scale score

SELF-ESTEEM:

Ranges between 10 and 30 and represents a scale score

DEPRESSION:

Ranges between 0 and 60 and represents a scale score

* Note that gender is not a binary construct. In this case, the participants were given the opportunity to identify their gender from a range of options, and these were the only values that were selected by this group of respondents.
