The name of the company that I selected for this post is No Magic. The company slogan is No Magic: Just software that works (Bell, J. R., & Winn, J. (2006). The company's mission and vision statement are No Magic's purpose is two-fold: to create software products showcasing the most powerful solutions available to engineers and programmers today, and to provide professional services including training, consulting, and custom development. The change occurring within the organization is growth and loss. The company is a husband and wife software and consulting company based out of Lithuania. To better their economic condition they need to find a way to the U.S. or Western Europe, or Americans or Western Europeans, and after accomplishing this goal in 1999.

Does the vision statement meet the challenges of the overall change initiative?

The vision statement didnt meet the challenges of the overall changes, although it is clear and appealing but is not flexible enough to accommodate the initiative and change that occurred. In 2003 the company had experienced two consecutive years of losses and needed someone to develop a marketing plan and to build an internal sales organization. The company needed strategic planning to overcome the quickness in growth, need for additional qualified employees and a plan for change management objectives.

Possible revisions that could be made to the vision statement to meet the image of the organization after changes have been implemented.

The vision statement did not offer an active view of the future. The statement impedes change by making the strong emotional appeals (Palmer, I., Dunford, R., & Buchanan, D. (2017). Vision statements must be a group effort of the chief executive, change manager and branding committee. Although there is no one best way to provide change the implementation of a group effort and strategical decision-making plan that would make the vision statement more attractive and to the point may implement the necessary changes that would assist the organization in the changes thats needed to help the organization to succeed.
